While Ashley isn't talking much about her parents, she has been credited by her grandfather for the inspiration for her enthusiasm for working out due to his popularity as a bodybuilder in his 20s and 30s. Ashley started swimming at the age of four. In the following 10 years she took classes. Ashley participated in numerous competitions However, she wasn't determined because her body wasn't capable of sustaining the strict diet. While she competed in the competition, she was approached to shoot photoshoots. The model didn't want to mix her profession and declined. After she has quit competing Ashley is now a fitness model. The magazine she was on featured her cover in a renowned fitness magazine that launched her fitness modelling career. She signed with an agency shortly following. She has since become a sought-after model and has been a model for a variety of bikini brands and worldwide known apparel companies.
